Dawn Food Products Business Lead Procure to Pay Hybrid in Jackson, Michigan
The Process Leader, Procure to Pay (PTP) willbe responsible for governing the overall PTP end-to-end process, ensuring that processes are standardized across Dawn\'s North America (NA) Business Unit, driving transactional efficiency, and defining and implementing a PTP roadmap. The PTP roadmap will need to balance the desired process changes with the capabilities of Dawn\'s existing business systems landscape, including best practices built within Dawn\'s current ERP (SAP ECC), as well as have an eye toward Dawn\'s \"to be\" business systems landscape, such as S/4Hana. The PTP process leader will apply best practices to propose and implement improvements while adhering to a governance process by ensuring appropriate stakeholders and decision makers are part of the design and implementation of processes.
Responsibilities:\ This role will be responsible for governing the overall PTP end-to-end process, ensuring that processes are standardized across NA, change is managed carefully following a structured governance model, and process improvements are identified, including technology changes.\ Identify and implement process improvements and cost gains initiatives, maintaining a strong focus on execution and delivery of short-term results while moving towards the long-term vision\ Define key performance indicators (KPI) metrics to measure end-to-end service performance, quality, and internal customer satisfaction\ Manage and implement Procure to Pay process roadmap to deliver a standard PTP process for Dawn NA.\ Collaborate with IT on system enhancements to improve PTP process with an emphasis on internal customer satisfaction while also leveraging the inherent capabilities and flexibility of Dawn\'s current and planned business application ecosystem, SAP being Dawn\'s system of record.\ Collaborate with various stakeholders such as Procurement, AP, Finance, and Supply Chain to align PTP priorities.\ Nurture a culture of continuous improvement, best practice sharing, and process standardization and align with the other Process Leaders throughout the NA Business Unit(?)\ Escalate process issues to respective businesses owners in a timely and structured approach\ Position will be a North American role that could evolve into a Global BPL.
Qualifications:\ 10+ years of experience in Procure to Pay\ 5 years leading successful projects/driving continuous improvement preferred\ Strong grounding in process, controls & systems, and subject matter expert in PTP\ Demonstrated leadership as BPL in an SAP environment preferred\ Procure to Pay experience in an SAP environment preferred\ Strong, proven business partnering mentality; has the maturity and awareness to strike the right balance between facilitating and challenging the business.\ Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross functionally with business partnering mentality\ Demonstrated change management skills getting from \"as is\" to \"to be\"\ Willing to \"own\" the PTP process\ Strong experience in building compelling business cases, and appropriate persistence that shapes the opinions of stakeholders; position proposals by linking to others\' needs and concerns.\ Self-starter with demonstrated initiative\ Bachelor\'s degree required preferably in IT or business\ English required + Spanish preferred\ Willingness to travel as needed including Mexico (Mexico City & Monterrey-roughly 20% travel in North America)
Hybrid - normal setting for this job is office / home. On-site 1-3x a week.
\ Compensation: \$87,850 - \$131,770 with potential annual bonus.
