We are in search of an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our client's team in Jacksboro, Tennessee. In this role, you will be handling various tasks related to accounts payable, from processing invoices to maintaining vendor contacts. This role offers a short-term contract employment opportunity, starting with three days a week (24 hours) and possibly growing to five days a week (40 hours). This contract position will begin immediately on 2/3/25.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process vendor invoices, ensuring correct coding and matching

• Efficiently manage the data entry of approximately 25 invoices daily

• Maintain and update the general ledger system on a regular basis

• Establish and maintain efficient contact with vendors via email and phone

• Perform account reconciliation duties as required

• Manage 3-way matching process to ensure accuracy

• Utilize Microsoft for various tasks as required

• Handle other accounts payable related tasks as needed

Requirements • Minimum of 1 year of experience in an Accounts Payable role or similar.

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation.

• Demonstrated experience in Accounts Payable (AP).

• Strong data entry skills.

• Proficient in Invoice Processing.

• Familiarity with Microsoft-DOS.

• Experience in Vendor Contacts.

• Knowledge of General Ledger System.

• Ability to perform Coding Invoices.

• Experience in 3 Way Matching in a business setting.
