Chris Preble from Robert Half is working with an Ithica client of his in the manufacturing industry that is looking to hire an Operations Manager. This company has awesome benefits and really good work life balance. The Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing aspects of manufacturing operations and overseeing purchasing. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of our operations with the ultimate goal of optimizing processes and driving continuous improvement.

Reporting into the GM, your responsibilities will include:

• Develop and implement production plans to meet customer demand, maximizing efficiency and minimizing costs

• Monitor production schedules and adjust as necessary to ensure on-time delivery

• Implement and maintain quality control standards to ensure that all products meet or exceed customer expectations

• Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvements

• Lead cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and drive cost reductions

• Provide leadership and guidance to the operations team, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement

• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and implement safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment

• Work closely with procurement and supply chain teams to ensure timely procurement of materials and components

Requirements

• Experience in a leadership role in the manufacturing industry
