Who will you be working with?

Wabtec supplies almost every major rail transit system in the world with solutions that improve safety, efficiency, and passenger comfort.

Our products and services serve all types of rail transit, from high speed trains to regional networks and metro systems. Our integrated series of components, manufactured using advanced technologies, are designed to meet our customers’ needs for safety, energy efficiency, and reliability. With transit operators increasingly focused on total lifecycle cost, we support long-term asset performance with engineering services.

Role: Engineering Technical Lead

Salary: £Competitive

Location: Istanbul/Maslek - (1 day office based/4 days field)

Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time

How will you make a difference?

As the Engineering Technical Lead, you will collaborate closely with local Railway customers, field service departments, SISCO Engineering Teams, and the local Sales Team. You'll communicate regularly and coordinate with colleagues to ensure seamless support and service delivery.

What will your typical day look like?

• As the primary technical contact for local Railway customers, you will regularly visit customer sites providing technical support.

• Collaborating with our customer's internal teams to identify solutions for maintenance and repair activities.

• Analyse maintenance and breakdown data to implement preventive and corrective actions.

• Maintain up-to-date technical documentation, resolve queries, and advise on product repairs.

• Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings and work to deliver such benefits.

• Participate in product presentations and support the Sales Team in preparing customer offers.

• Use your proactive approach and technical expertise to drive customer satisfaction.

What do we want to know about you?

• Degree educated ideally in mechanical or electro-mechanical engineering.

• Experience in product engineering, technical support, and maintenance services.

• A proactive problem-solving attitude and a strong customer orientation are essential.

• Proficiency in Turkish and English, along with flexibility for regular travel, are key requirements.
