Job Description Summary
GE Aerospace is offering the opportunity to work with the latest technologies and applications, specializing in aircraft engine design and analysis, in a technology base. Turkey Technology Center (TTC), is one of GE Aerospace's nine engineering centers throughout the world, supporting aviation-related R&D and innovation projects that expand with new investments. Our campus is in Kartal, Istanbul.
In this position you will be working with a team of design engineers to develop next generation hybrid electric systems for Aerospace Industry to invent the future of the flight.
Only candidates who have been students for at least 6 months will be evaluated during the internship
Job Description
Essential Responsibilities:
Understand low temperature PEM fuel cell technology and its associated electrochemical governing equations.
Create electrochemical fuel cell models with power electronics oriented PLECS simulation environment
Requirements:
BSc (year 3/4) or MSc student of electrical and/or electronics or similar engineering.
Have familiarity with electrical circuit simulation environments like PLECS, Matlab/Simulink, PSIM, Proteus.
Eager to study the technology of low temperature PEM fuel cell
Have familiarity with Matlab, Octave or PLECS functional block programming scripts
Desired Characteristics:
Good command of English & Turkish (reading/writing)

Preferred to have experience with simulation of control systems
Preferred to have experience with C, C++ or Python is a plus
Preferred to have experience with embedded programming of power electronics controls
Familiarity with architectures of microprocessor families from TI, ST or some other vendors
