Providence St. Joseph Health Supervisor - Facilities Management in Issaquah, Washington
Description The position is responsible for providing leadership, vision, and a working environment that promotes teamwork and customer satisfaction and for ensuring that the standards of service are met for the Facilities Engineering team in a manner consistent with SMC's mission and values. The Supervisor plans work, schedules staff and vendors, supervises work order execution, coordinates system disruptions, tracks work status, monitors and verifies the function of building environmental and life safety systems. Required qualifications: Coursework/Training: Must have completed a broad range of formal, specialized training courses pertaining to building maintenance and plant operations. National Boiler Operator Grade I License - State County City Trade License Authority or National Boiler Operator Grade II License - State County City Trade License Authority or National Boiler Operator Grade III License - State County City Trade License Authority 10 or more years of Building maintenance and plant operations experience. Extensive experience in the maintenance of building envelopes, finishes and equipment. Experience with most utility and life safety systems including fan systems, chillers and chilled water distribution, cooling towers, emergency generators, electrical distribution, steam generation and distribution, heating water, plumbing, medical gases, and fire detection and suppression systems. Experience in the development, implementation and monitoring of computer based preventive maintenance programs. Experience with all hospital utility systems. Experience in a computer-based maintenance software system. Preferred qualifications: Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field or equivalent education/experience Why Join Providence?
