This is a role well suited for a highly motivated student looking to build their skill set and gain hands-on experience. As a hardware design engineering intern , you will be responsible for : * Circuit card schematic capture activities for design updates and new designs * Testing of ultrasound system hardware in our engineering laboratory * Take part in system characterization testing with senior design engineers * Documentation of various test results and sharing findings with the development team This position may suit you best if you are familiar with what is below, and would like to develop your skills with Healthineers: * Familiarity reading electronic device datasheets and using the information for design inputs * Familiarity with schematic capture tools, such as Mentor Graphics Xpedition * Familiarity with electronic test equipment such as DMMs and oscilloscopes * Comfortable with the MS Office tool suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, etc.) Required skills and education to have for the success of this role: * Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program, majoring in electrical or computer engineering (minimum rising senior preferred) * Minimum 3.0 GPA (preferred) Start Date: Summer 2024 The pay range for this position is $28.70 - $37.00 hourly; however, base pay offered may vary depending on education, skills, and experience.
