SanMar Assistant Product Developer in Issaquah, Washington

The Assistant Product Developer is responsible for assisting a product line with a wide range of product categories and tasks, and providing administrative support with design, quality testing, and product and sample tracking. What Will You Be Doing? Build and maintain PD portion of technical product specifications (BOM, trims, packaging and associated technical images). Assist in the development of Fabric, Trims, Color and Styles with multiple sources and facilitate approval during product development stage. Build, maintain and monitor Product Development tracking charts. Facilitate or execute all tasks in the ERP system. Manage production status through reviewing Order Status Reports (OSR) weekly, working with suppliers, planning, and logistics for on-time delivery. Monitor the review of Product Creation Calendar deliverables. Maintain the fabric swatch library, TOP library, style files, and sample racks; execute photoshoot and salesman sample orders seasonally. Assist with prototypes, photo shoot and salesman sample reviews. Assist with proofreading marketing materials. Support Fabric/Product testing requirements with Decorator Relations team on new or resourced development styles. Manage air requests, prepare and send packages, process inbound packages. Collaborate with Merchandising to support and maintain the ETA list. Assist the resourcing process of current products and programs as needed. Perform other duties as assigned. Comply with all policies and standards. What Are We Looking For? Bachelor's Degree or equivalent apparel or industry experience. Bags/gears/accessory experience is preferred. Knowledge of garment construction and raw materials. High level ability to organize, communicate effectively and meet deadlines. Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate goals and objectives. Strong information seeking and problem-solving skills, with a drive to make things happen. Comprehension, and ability to lead understanding of the design and development process from inception through final adoption and production delivery with the ability to meet deadlines. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. What's Our Offer? Salary Range: Youll earn between $25.00 - $33.65 on an hourly basis, depending on experience. Bonus: Youll be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus up to $2,000. Paid Time Off: You`ll accrue paid time off on a weekly basis based on hours worked up to 112 hours per year to start. Employees also receive 8 paid holidays and 1 paid family day off. Hybrid: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle or feel. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Work environment is moderately quiet. Ability to work on computer for multiple hours with frequent interruptions. SanMar's Eastpointe office is located near Seattle, WA and our standard working hours are 8:00-5:00 PST. Quarterly travel may be required. Why Work at SanMar?
