Description We are in search of an interim Controller for our client in the technology industry. This role is a short-term contract employment opportunity where you'll be tasked with overseeing the accounting function as well as assessing and improving processes.

Responsibilities: • Oversee the month-end and year-end close processes • Supervise and support the accounting staff • Exhibit strong proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, vlookups, and xlookups • Manage customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary • Leverage your experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP to optimize operations • Apply cost accounting experience, preferably from defense, construction, or technology industries • Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently • Maintain accurate customer credit records • Manage the budget processes and operational audits • Handle both Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) operations. Requirements • Proficient in Accounting Software Systems. • Must have experience in performing Accounting Functions. • Knowledge in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR). • Familiarity with Budget Processes. • Experience in conducting Operational Audits. • Involvement in Annual External Audits. • Must have the ability to work effectively in a team and independently. • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. • High level of organizational skills and attention to detail. • Proven ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize and meet deadlines. • Relevant certification or degree in finance or accounting is preferred. • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret financial data. • Knowledge of financial regulations and standards.
