WorkSource Oregon Retail Sales Clerk in ISLAND CITY, Oregon
Requirements: * At least eighteen (18) years of age. * High school diploma or equivalent. * Driver license to operate employer vehicles. * Computer skills to include database. * Demonstrated customer service skills. * Cash handling experience. * Basic math skills. * Pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check. Preferences: * Experience in retail sales. * Experience dealing with sometimes angry or hostile customers and resolving customer issues. * Cash register operation experience. Job Duties: * Be first point of contact for customers in person and via telephone. * Assist to make purchase selections. * Take customer payments via credit card transactions * Take customer payments in cash and make accurate change. * Follow up with customers via telephone and in person contacts. * Assist in sales in retail store and possibly in sales lot. * Other duties as assigned. Hours: * Some Saturdays. * Minimum 20 hours and up to 40 hours per week. * Full time and part time available. * Open Until Filled
