Investors Bank Loan Servicing Associate II in Iselin, New Jersey

POSITION OVERVIEW Responsible for completing general loan servicing tasks on a daily basis. This position includes customer service responsibilities. Serves as the face of Investors Bank by exceeding service expectations, while identifying customer needs and appropriately resolving loan questions, problems and pending issues. RESPONSIBILITIES * Documenting Loan Servicing Cases - Efficiently and accurately documents Loan Servicing customer cases. Examples include, but not limited to: Inputs all customer information into case tracking system; Follows up on escalated cases; Recording all pertinent information relative to the resolution of 360 View incidents and Help Desk requests; and Recording information required for research, adjustments or resolution of requests. * Loan Servicing Tax & Insurance Payments - Ensures that all tax and insurance payments are made on a timely basis. Examples include, but not limited to: Confirming that all tax and insurance payments are made properly; Preparing checks for mailing; Coordinating that all cancellation notices on insurance policies are addressed; Paying taxes to townships and municipalities; Recording and verifying taxes due on each loan in the Core system; Verifying all accounts where customer pays own taxes are paid current; Handling all tax items that are disbursed from escrow accounts; and Monitoring all forced place insurance; * Processing Loan Payoffs & Payments - Accurately and efficiently processes loan payoffs and payments. Examples include, but not limited to: Processing and posting all loan payments, payoffs and other monetary transactions through the Core system; Backing up with returned check items; Setting up loan payment auto-debits; and Posting all GL transactions through the Core system. * Residential Loan File Management - Manages all Residential Loan Files. Examples include, but not limited to: Performing inventory and quality control of loan files on an ongoing basis; Performing document imaging of loan documents and/or loan files as needed; Managing loan file, open and paid off, receipt including hard copy, electronic, legal documentation and correspondence; Managing file requests and delivery; and Preparing files for Iron Mountain retrieval and documenting such in storage logs. * Resolving Loan Servicing Customer Requests - Efficiently and accurately resolves Loan Servicing customer requests. . Examples include, but are not limited to: Answering customer calls, voicemails and emails; Verifying customer identity; and Providing solutions to meet and exceed the client's needs. * A college degree or a high school education with at least two years of working experience in loan servicing is required. Must have knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook. Must be a team player with excellent organizational skills. Must have excellent interpersonal, communication, writing and telephone skills. Must have the ability to work in a busy demanding environment. DESIRED Previous customer service experience or a strong desire to work in the service industry.
