Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a mid-level SAP PP Functional Consultant to join a large global chemical Manufacuring client in their Hyderabad, India office. S/4HANA Production Planning (PP) consultant, they will be part of a team of experts responsible for creating a detailed blueprint for the configuration and development requirements of S/4HANA, and for providing business functional support around SAP PP module. They will lead solutions and projects and also provide hands on configuration in SAP PP. Personnel should have a good functional knowledge in standard SAP Production modules along with integration with other SAP Supply Chain modules (MM / SD/APO or IBP). Ability to understand business requirements and design and dealing with production issues related to planning processes, such as capacity planning, material planning, execution of production order, bill of material and goods movement. Personnel should have deep expertise/knowledge in below areas:

• Master Planning PP-MP

• Demand Management ( PP-MP-DEM) & Long Term planning ( PP-MP-DEM)

• Capacity Planning ( PP - CRP)

• Material Requirements Planning ( PP-MRP)

• Repetitive Manufacturing ( PP-REM)

• Production lot planning/individual project planning

• Assembly to order ( LO-ASM)

• Production Planning for Process Industries ( PP-PI)

• The candidate should be very familiar with the Manufacturing processes. He/ She should be comfortable with master data components of SAP PP such as BOM ( PP-BD-BOM), Production version, Work Center, Routings ,Production Planning Cycle.

   The candidate should have worked on integrated systems and should be comfortable with monitoring of interfaces and applications. The candidate must be familiar with working on heavily customized Objects. A basic understanding of SAP ABAP along with debugging would be given preference. The candidate should have experience working in Project and Application Support Services in an end-user facing position, and he/she should be familiar with Incident Management and Problem Management along with an understanding of Business priority and criticality. He/she should have also worked on Change Management processes.

Skills and Requirements

Minimum 5 plus years of experience in SAP PP module.

 Proven experience in integrating SAP Supply chain modules and any MES.

 Strong knowledge of SAP PP and its core functionalities.

 Experience with SAP S/4 HANA and basic knowledge of IBP DP, Inventory optimizer will be added advantage.

 Awareness of the MM/SD Cycle business processes.

 Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think analytically.

 Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.

 Able to work under pressure without any supervision, flexible, and a good team player SAP certification in S4 Manufacturing/ PP is preferred null
