Citigroup Public Cloud - Product Manager - VP in Irving, Texas

The Cloud Product Manager is responsible for defining product strategy – capabilities, service lifecycle, and new feature and product roadmap for each functional pillar of the Cloud program. The Cloud Product Manager will be instrumental in managing all products from design to implementation to ongoing performance monitoring according to business need, and ensure that Citi makes appropriate strategic choices in onboarding, managing and exiting of vendors from the product portfolio. The role requires a talented technologist with experience delivering quality technology products/services in a high growth environment where priorities shift rapidly.
Responsibilities :
Engage with cross-functional teams to identify constraints, dependencies, risks/issues, and to deliver software features
Participate in all activities required to bring the product to market
Work closely with the team leads to maintain full visibility of multiple projects, ensuring resource gaps are addressed efficiently
Work with teams to set milestones, communicate project statuses, and identify/address potential roadblocks
Manage communication across cross-functional teams to ensure the smooth progress and information flow
Communicate effectively to an organization of hundreds of engineers, and present progress to Sr. management, escalating as needed
Basic Qualifications:
2 - 5 years experience in a Product Manager role
Experience in using and/or delivering cloud services
Experience of building cloud platform for developer, application team consumption
Understand product requirements, technical challenges, business needs, and develop a detailed roadmap and schedule based on those needs
Utilize knowledge of how technology integrates within Citi and of direct competitors products and services
Understand technology standards and implement accordingly across the globe
Strong verbal, written, and data presentation skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams
Ability to work in a matrix environment and partner with virtual teams
Ability to succeed in a fast-paced, innovative, and rapidly evolving industry and business organizations
Strong sense of ownership and willingness to tackle initiatives head-on
High attention to detail and ability to communicate across a wide range of functional and tenured audiences
Motivated self-starter, able to change directions quickly when priorities shift and quickly think through problems to design and deliver solutions
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience of dealing with technology platform and multi cloud strategy.
Understand and define developer experience of cloud services.
Can think from developer mindset and solve their problems.
Hands-on software development experience is plus.
Ability to deliver quality technology products/services in a high growth environment where priorities shift rapidly
Ability to excel in a global, cross-functional environment with competing priorities
Possess solid analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work with a constantly evolving product roadmap, utilizing and defining systems and processes to support the strategic initiative
Demonstrated ability to projects to success
Ability to prioritize effectively and communicate clearly
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field or equivalent experience
