Citigroup PMO-Hybrid -Irving in Irving, Texas
The PMO will apply in-depth disciplinary knowledge to manage and coordinate various activities related to the project and program. This person will coordinate and contribute to the objectives of the function and overall business. The right candidate will require good analytical skills in order to filter, prioritize and validate potentially complex and dynamic material from multiple sources. Strong communication and diplomacy skills are required. Regularly assumes informal/formal leadership role within teams. Work and performance of all teams in the area are directly affected by the performance of the individual.
We are looking for a PMO professional who has 5-9 years of experience, who supports two internal applications. This individual will work with an internal team that are based in the US, EMEA and APAC. This person needs to oversee and ensure that the various deliverables are being actioned and moved forward.
We need someone who has strong communications skills- written and verbal. You will be responsible for coordinating and facilitating meetings with a team of peers who are at different levels.
You will be asked to prepare reports, presentations for the meetings and follow-ups
You will prepare project budgets and monitor the on-going project budget
Experience with tech projects are a plus, but not a must
Ideally worked with Scrum, Agile and/or Waterfall, not must
Past experience working w a PM tool, like Clarity, MS Project, Smartsheet are all pluses, not a must
Must be willing to start your day at 7:30 or 8:30 CST in order to work with a global team.
Responsibilities:
Coordinates activities of the project team, identifies necessary resources and develops schedules to meet completion deadlines.
Verifies project team adherence to control and risk implementations as well as standards and process changes.
Determines scope and impact of project risks and issues; raises and resolves issues.
Applies good understanding of concepts and procedures within own IT project leadership area to resolve issues.
Provides evaluative judgment based on analysis of factual information in complicated and unique situations.
Persuades and influences others through communication and diplomacy skills; may negotiate with external parties.
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
5-8 y ears experience in an IT project leadership role with commensurate people management experience.
Excel or PowerPoint, must have intermediate proficiency
Experience w. JIRA and/or Confluence nice to haves
Education:
Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
PMP, ITIL are nice to haves
