The Work:

Provide operational leadership and resource management for the Network Operations team. Day-to-day support for multiple clients within multiple datacenter and Cloud environments, provide Outage Resolution Support.

  • Investigation of outage cause, impact on user, and resolution.

  • Facilitate outage investigation/restoration of service to Production Environment

  • Organize meetings to facilitate the investigation of outages/problems and the subsequent restoration of service

  • Communicate status of outages

  • Provide periodic updates to management and the client teams on the status of any error resolution activities during an outage

  • Communicate and work with the client teams as necessary to resolve errors

Other responsibilities may include:

  • Establish, monitor and evaluate system metrics to enhance team performance and efficiency adherent to organizational and client SLA and OLA requirements.

  • Provide operational support, ensuring systems and devices are online and available; this includes non- business hours escalation on-call support

  • Participate in group capability, staffing requirements, and potential new deal reviews.

  • Assist in resourcing, scope of work, and reporting discussions.

  • Provide operational guidance to Network operations Engineers and other Operations staff.

  • Provide ongoing management and/or improvement of activities related to a part or to the whole of a technical infrastructure (e.g. information systems, security, telecommunications networks, etc.) as well as evolving client requirements.

  • Help formulate Best Practices and deploy standard repeatable build outs and security tools management processes.

  • Manage relationship with equipment/application/tool vendors and ensure they are meeting all service levels and responsibilities.

  • Plan and implement medium to high-risk changes on production security systems.

  • Analyze and assess the impact and risk of high- risk changes on production and non- production network environments. Perform as an internal escalation resource for higher level issues.

  • Analyze system performance indicators and recommend improvement actions

  • Monitor vendors’ release notes and plan necessary patching and upgrades of various network equipment and tools.

T his role will require 2-3 days per week at the local office. The preferred hiring locations for this role are Cincinnati, OH; Columbus, OH; and Tampa, FL but may consider qualified applicants in other targeted locations.

Here’s what you need:

  • Minimum of 5 years in managing / leading teams, resource management

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience on a network operations/engineering team

  • Minimum of 5 years Fortinet/ Cisco/ Palo Alto Firewall support

  • Minimum of 5 years Load balancing

  • Minimum of 5 years Cloud Network Support

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum of 12 years) work experience. (If Associate's degree, must have minimum of 6 years experience.)

    Bonus Points if:

  • Certifications are a plus; CCNA, CCNP, Cloud Specialized.

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
