Job Title: Lead Information Security Engineer

Location(s): Irving, TX; Westlake, TX; Charlotte, NC; Raleigh, NC; Columbus, OH; or New York City, NY

Terms: 24 Month W2 Contract (CANNOT consider Corp to Corp)

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Information Security Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with a strong background in security engineering, cloud proxy administration, and zero-trust network access (ZTNA) solutions. The successful candidate will play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing our security posture, ensuring that our cloud infrastructure and security solutions align with industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage security solutions to protect our cloud infrastructure and data.

• Administer and maintain Cloud Proxy services, including Broadcom Proxy or comparable tools, ensuring secure and seamless access to cloud resources.

• Develop and write CPL (Content Policy Language) scripts from scratch to customize and optimize proxy behavior for specific security needs.

• Oversee the administration and optimization of ZTNA (Zero Trust Network Access) solutions.

• Monitor, analyze, and respond to security incidents and alerts using advanced tools, including Splunk.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security best practices into all stages of the software development lifecycle.

• Drive continuous improvement in security processes, policies, and procedures.

• Participate in Agile development processes, contributing to security requirements, user stories, and sprint planning.

• Lead change management initiatives related to security tools, processes, and protocols.

• Conduct regular security assessments and audits to ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of Information Security Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, or education.

• 3+ years of Cloud Proxy administration experience, including Broadcom Proxy or comparable tools.

• Experience writing CPL (Content Policy Language) scripts from scratch to meet specific security and proxy requirements.

• 1+ years of experience with ZTNA (Zero Trust Network Access) solution administration.

Desired Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience with Splunk or similar security information and event management (SIEM) tools.

• 1+ year of experience working in an Agile development environment.

• Proven experience with change management and process analysis in a security-focused role.

Preferred Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or similar are highly desirable.

• Familiarity with regulatory compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2).
