Citigroup IT Business Lead Analyst in Irving, Texas

Citibank, N.A. seeks an IT Business Lead Analyst for its Irving, TX location.

Duties: Provide input during development and implementation phases including formulation and definition of system scope, objectives, and necessary system enhancements for complex, high-impact projects. Responsible for work allocation, budget and planning, performance evaluations, compensation, and staffing. Analyze and decompose complex business requirements and ensure clear and shared understanding of requirements and strategic approach. Oversee development and validate the functionality of products as per requirement specifications and ensure consistency across clarity applications. Identify and communicate risks and impacts and propose risk mitigation options while considering business implications of the application of technology to the current business environment. Evaluate new IT developments and evolving business requirements and recommend appropriate system alternatives and/or enhancements to current systems by analyzing business processes, systems, and industry standards. Provide in-depth and sophisticated analyses with interpretive thinking to define problems, develop innovative solutions, and influence strategic functional decisions.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, Mathematics, Finance, or a related field, and (5) years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation in the financial services industry. Five (5) years of experience must include: Planning, eliciting, analyzing, documenting, and managing system requirements using Data Analysis and SQL to query data in database or spreadsheet; Working with regulatory requirements and appropriate user accesses and entitlements; Working with Reference data systems to identify gaps in financial transactions including security and pricing information; Working with Securities Financing Transactions (SFTs) products including Securities, derivatives, structured products, and debt instruments; Identifying cost center allocations for trade accounting and reconciliation of balance sheet differences for regulatory reporting; and Working with counterparty credit risk and Risk Weighted Asset (RWA) concepts to facilitate accurate calculations of portfolio risk and return calculations. 40 hrs./wk.
