Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive facility maintenance plan, including preventive maintenance schedules, repairs, and upgrades.

  • Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify and address maintenance issues, ensuring a safe and comfortable working environment for staff and visitors.

  • Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for repairs and maintenance services, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.

  • Manage/logistics of the inventory of training equipment, including procurement, tracking, and maintenance.

  • Conduct regular audits of equipment inventory, ensuring accuracy and availability for training purposes.

  • Monitor and enforce compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, including conducting risk assessments, implementing safety protocols, and providing training to staff as necessary.

  • Develop and maintain documentation related to health, safety, and environment compliance, including policies, procedures, and incident reports.

  • Implement and maintain the 6S methodology (Sort, Straighten, Shine, Standardize, Sustain, Safety), ensuring a clean, organized, and efficient work environment.

  • Train and educate staff on the importance of 6S principles and facilitate their active participation in maintaining a 6S culture.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process improvement opportunities and implement best practices related to facility maintenance, logistics, and 6S.

Requirements:

  • HS Diploma / GED and 3-5 years relevant experience

  • Proven experience in facility and equipment maintenance, logistics/inventory management, and health, safety, and environment compliance.

  • Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations and best practices.

  • Familiarity with the 6S methodology and experience implementing and sustaining 6S initiatives.

  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Proficient in using computer software and systems for maintenance tracking, inventory management, and documentation.

  • Role requires the individual to be in-person at the facility on a day-to-day basis
