Job Description

Job Summary:

The Director of Credit Bureau Reporting is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of monthly credit bureau files as well as daily responses to credit bureau inquiries. This position is responsible for analysis of the monthly Credit Reporting file, developing, implementing and adhering to best practices & processes in order to minimize risk and potential loss.

Job Duties:

Primarily responsible for building brand through accurate credit bureau reporting

Leads, directs and guides daily activities of the credit bureau reporting teams. In addition, must establish & maintain strong partnerships with Compliance and Audit.

Establishes goals and performance objectives, and process improvements for organization. Drives for results.

Improves customer satisfaction and process quality by monitoring and providing feedback. Provides training and development support for managers in the areas of performance management, and coaching/developing of their associates

Ensures adherence to established operational methods, procedures, service standards and applicable state and federal laws.

Appropriately addresses human resources issues, such as attendance and interpersonal conflicts in the workplace. Interviews and hires managers and participates in the recruiting process of customer service representatives.

Creates system and process enhancements.

Prepares performance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends, and drives improvements.

Actively participates in projects including providing requirements and UAT testing

Education and Work Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.

Eight (8) years direct job-related experience, to include a minimum of three (3) years management experience.

Previous credit bureaus reporting experience.

Excellent leadership skills in directing a team with measurable performance.

Extensive experience interfacing with all levels of peers/coworkers.

Strong communication skills, including developing and delivering presentations to senior management.

Strong hands-on experience developing, aligning and implementing strategies with objectives and functions.

Proven leader with a strong track record of success as a business partner, mentor, manager and team builder.

Superior problem solving, analytical, process improvement, project management, communication and presentation skills.

Knowledge of state and federal regulatory compliances

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Word

Compensation Information

Salary Range: $88,000 - $121,000

Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons.
