Caterpillar’s Construction Industries Services Division (CISD) is hiring a Digital Experience Consultant !

Role Definition: Lead critical initiatives to better integrate our Digital offerings with our current Aftermarket Product Offerings (AMOs) and Rental & Used business. Further, this role will also lead internal training initiatives related to our Digital Products and help provide program support to individual products as needed. This will include being a champion of our New Services Development process and implementation of our go-to-market workstreams.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and align roles and responsibilities / process(es) around digital product enhancement requests & dependencies with internal business partners and key product owners.

  • Drive New Services Development and Go-To-Market Workstreams where they can be leveraged by AMO offerings, and within the Rental & Used business.

  • Lead Construction Industries’ business requirements development based on voice of internal business partners as well as voice of dealers to ultimately drive more effective usage of the tools to drive a sustainable, positive experience between the dealers and our customers.

  • Rationalize voice of business and voice of dealer enhancement requests by managing prioritization process and aligning on which requests will be worked first with product owners – keeping customer experience at the forefront.

  • Establishing metrics/KPIs to monitor and review the effectiveness of existing marketing strategies, suggesting necessary interventions for improvement.

  • Maintaining effective internal communications across business partners to discuss and align the future state of the tools based on changing organizational scenarios.

  • Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.

  • Influencing: Knowledge of effective influencing tactics and strategies; ability to impact decisions within and outside own organization.

  • Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.

  • Relationship Management: Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with external and internal peers.

  • Strategic Thinking: Knowledge of the importance of "big picture" thinking and planning; ability to apply organizational acumen and competitiveness to identify and maintain focus on key success factors for the organization.

Top Candidates Will Also Bring:

  • Experience in Digital, Aftermarket, Machines or Commercial (sales, product, marketing) related positions.

  • Strong project management, influencing, relationship building skills meet customer needs.

  • Knowledge of product applications and machine systems.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Project Management, Sales Engineering, Construction Management or similar.

  • Experience with Caterpillar systems/tools.

Additional Details:

  • The preferred work location for this role is Dallas, TX

  • The role may also be located in Cary, NC or Peoria, IL

  • Domestic relocation assistance is available

  • Caterpillar operates in a hybrid work environment, requiring onsite work

  • Travel is up to 25% domestic and international
