The Work:

• Analyze large and complex datasets to extract actionable insights and identify trends.

• Develop predictive models and machine learning algorithms to solve business problems and optimize processes.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into data-driven solutions.

• Design experiments and interpret results to test hypotheses and validate models.

• Create data visualizations and dashboards to communicate findings and insights to stakeholders.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with large, complex datasets.

• Knowledge of SQL and experience working with relational databases.

• Ensure data quality, integrity, and accessibility through collaboration with data engineers.

• Participate in the development and implementation of data governance policies and best practices.

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of data science infrastructure and processes.

This role will require 2-3 days per week at the local office.

The preferred hiring locations for this role are Columbus, OH; Tampa, FL; Nashville, TN, Atlanta, GA; Dallas, TX

Here’s what you need:

• A minimum of three years of experience as a Data Scientist including proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL or PySpark

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If Associate Degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience)

Bonus points if you have:

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, with experience in data manipulation, statistical analysis, and machine learning libraries (e.g., pandas, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with large, complex datasets.

• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Matplotlib, Seaborn, Tableau) to communicate insights effectively.

• Knowledge of SQL and experience working with relational databases.

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
