Corporate Functions – Marketing + Communications

As part of this team, you’ll play a key role in helping Accenture execute its strategy. You’ll work with a diverse team of innovative marketing experts who focus on the following areas: global brand management and advertising; global events and sponsorships; internal communications; marketing research; media and industry analyst relations; corporate and financial communications; internet marketing; recruitment marketing; client-centric marketing; and industry, service line and geographic marketing campaigns.

Overview of Responsibilities:

As the Content Delivery Capabilities Owner, you will play an integral role as a key member of the Client-Facing Capabilities team, within the Marketing Capabilities & Agency Operations function of Delivery Excellence. You will be responsible for shaping the design, implementation and operationalizing of our content delivery capabilities. This person must foster a deep understanding of the objectives and goals to provide strategic planning, requirements, implementation, and continued roadmap for our content delivery capabilities. In this role you will focus on delivering our content to our clients in new ways, including the end to end content supply chain and personalization within our various channels (.com, mobile app, email, etc.). You will be helping build a truly world class B2B infrastructure to engage our clients.

Our focus is on our capabilities to deliver customized research, thought leadership and other content to our Clients for an optimal and cohesive Accenture client experience. This will enable an efficient content operations infrastructure and an effective content supply chain. The three areas of focus are (i) Content Strategy, understanding what content our clients want (ii) Content Center, centralizing the content and making it readily available for our clients, and (iii) Content Distribution, delivering content relevant to our clients through their preferred channels.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to

  • Distill complex problems into understandable elements for technical capability mapping

  • Define and deliver the technology solutions for the content delivery capabilities to meet our defined vision and roadmap

  • Constantly define and articulate the value of our solutions to leadership, sponsors, and users of our content delivery capabilities

  • Oversee the development of viewpoints and hypotheses for capabilities within or connecting to content delivery capabilities based on research, demo’s, and evaluations to present well thought out recommendations

  • Collaborate with stakeholders and other teams to verify and build out business requirements which will evolve into the technical requirements and roadmap

  • Collaborate with other teams to create coordinated plans for business growth

  • Ensure capabilities and processes meet procurement, data privacy, legal, etc. requirements and standards

  • Understand and adhere to the established tagging and taxonomy

  • Lead requirements gathering, timelines and deliverables and advise on areas of risk, raise issues early and provide work-in-progress status

  • Resolve issues that come up (e.g. delays in delivery, accidents)

  • Manage the design, development, QA, user testing, implementation (end to end)

  • Oversee the ongoing day to day operations of the content delivery capabilities

  • Continually evaluate, identify, and initiate improvements and enhancements to streamline our content delivery

  • Work with change management team for training and roll out plans, and ongoing optimization releases

  • Future proof by staying abreast of current and evolving technologies to shape the ongoing content delivery roadmap

    Role-Specific Qualifications

  • Experience in working in a fast-paced environment while consistently meeting deadlines and motivating others to do the same

  • Responsible for collaborating with senior marketing managers

  • Critical thinking and the ability to bring order to unstructured problems

  • Use straightforward communication, when influencing and connecting with others

  • Able to read adapt and use superior storytelling and communication skills when influencing others

  • Use feedback and reflection to develop self-awareness, personal strengths, and address development areas

  • Be a dedicated team lead with an emphasis on people development

  • Delegate to others to provide stretch opportunities, coaching them to deliver results

How will this role benefit you?

Work Experience

  • 7+ years of experience in integrated B2B and B2C Marketing.

    Professional Skills:

  • Experience leading project teams and working with cross-functional / extended teams

  • Experience researching, evaluating tools, and drafting technical requirements

  • Content strategy and/or content delivery background preferred

  • Cross-channel marketing experience a plus

  • ABM background a plus

  • Demonstrated leadership in professional setting; either military or civilian

  • Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration in a professional setting; either military or civilian
