Our client, is seeking a BI Support Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum 3 years experience in Business Intelligence experience like Data Warehousing Management & Data Modelling, Power BI & Paginated Reports Development, Conceptual knowledge of Azure, AWS cloud architecture or any Cloud SaaS experience & experience with Power BI – Service / Desktop / Gateway.

BI Support Engineer

18 month contract

Hybrid – Remote & Irving, TX

$35/hour

This team delivers world-class support for our global customers on their digital transformation journey. We provide valuable support solutions on a wide range of technologies, including Data analytics, Artificial Intelligence and IoT, Business Intelligence and Power BI, SQL, Dynamics 365, and Power Platform, that elevate our customers’ trust in Microsoft and improve their business performance.

Job qualifications:

• Required

• 3+ years technical support, technical consulting experience, or information technology experience OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology (IT), or related field AND 1+ year(s) technical support, technical consulting experience, or information technology experience

• Business Intelligence experience like Data Warehousing Management & Data Modelling, Power BI & Paginated Reports Development.

• Conceptual knowledge of Azure, AWS cloud architecture or any Cloud SaaS experience

• Thorough troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication skills with both written and spoken English

• Ability to work well in a highly collaborative team

• Ability to work well in ambiguous situations

• Computer Science or Engineering related education background. Passion to keep learning advanced BI technologies.

• Experience in one or more of these areas desirable

• Power BI or Microsoft BI solutions

• OLAP, Data warehousing or OLTP, Tabular Models

• Power BI and Paginated Report Development

Products:

• Power BI – Service / Desktop / Gateway

• Microsoft Fabric – Service / Administration

Language Qualification

English Language: fluent in reading, writing and speaking.
