As the Senior Analyst, Sales Analytics & Insights within Edwards’ Surgical Division, you will be pivotal in harnessing the power of data to unlock sales insight and to drive impact. Your ability to bring added organization and structure to our data landscape will help us better shape, inform, and execute upon our US Surgical Commercial strategies.
In this role you will be an evangelist of transformation, focusing on the optimization of existing, and the development of new processes (across field inventory, accounting planning, sales forecasting, etc), along with managing the introduction and adoption of automated solutions aimed at improving our overall sales effectiveness and sales efficiency.
How You’ll Make An Impact:
Design, develop, and manage reporting tools and dashboards, translating business requirements into visually appealing and insightful data visualizations.
Utilize data preparation tools and optimization strategies to enhance dashboard performance, enabling faster data retrieval and analysis.
Distill large datasets into concise stories through various medium (ad-hoc reports, data models, dashboards) to drive sales insight and enable action.
Continuously monitor the effectiveness of our US Surgical sales reporting suite via analyzing usage & adoption trends, obtaining VOC, and taking necessary action to increase utility.
Support the development of, and execution against our US Surgical sales analytics roadmap & priorities. Ensuring all future development aligns with the commercial strategy and facilitates growth acceleration.
Collaborate with cross functional partners (Sales Leadership, Marketing, Inventory, Strategy, etc) to understand their needs, and to develop tailored solutions that address key business challenges and opportunities.
What You’ll Need (Required):
- Bachelor's Degree in in related field, minimum of 5 years relevant previous analytical experience including, spreadsheets, database management systems, and word processing
What Else We Look For (Preferred):
Proven track record with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, QlikView, or SFDC to create and launch impactful and user-friendly dashboards.
Experience with data preparation tools (Tableau Prep, Alteryx, Snowflake, Trifacta etc.) to optimize data retrieval and enhance dashboard performance.
Familiarity with VBA, Python, or R for data manipulation and analysis, enabling the transformation of large datasets into actionable insights.
Experience managing cross functional partnerships, communicating needs, and maintaining close coordination (IT, Sales Enablement, Customer Service).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to translate complex data into meaningful narratives that guide decision-making.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey insights effectively through ad-hoc reports, presentations, and data models.
Collaborative mindset and interpersonal skills to effectively work across departments, understanding diverse business needs and delivering tailored solutions.
Knowledge of sales and marketing processes, enabling the creation of data-driven solutions that address key business challenges.
Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in data visualizations and insights, contributing to the overall quality of reporting.

For California, the base pay range for this position is $88,000 to $124,000 (highly experienced).
