Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an Onboarding Specialist in Irvine, California. This role primarily focuses on supporting our onboarding team during the implementation of Workday. Regular office visits will be required only as and when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the implementation of Workday as part of the onboarding team

• Take over some of the onboarding duties during the Workday project

• Use MS Office tools to manage and track onboarding processes

• Ensure smooth transition for new hires during the Workday implementation

• Collaborate with the onboarding manager and team to maintain efficient workflow

• Address any issues or inquiries related to the onboarding process

• Monitor the onboarding process and suggest improvements if needed

• Maintain communication with new hires to ensure a positive onboarding experience

• Update and maintain accurate records of all onboarding activities. Requirements • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

• Proven experience in a similar onboarding specialist role or in a human resources position

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with all levels of an organization

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work

• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information

• Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team

• Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions

• Ability to adapt to changing situations and requirements

• Experience with HRIS or other HR systems would be advantageous

• Knowledge of labor legislation and employment best practices.
