As a Manager, Benefits + Wellness, you will provide expertise in Edwards benefits and wellness programs to ensure competitiveness of programs as a means to attract and retain talent.
How you’ll contribute:
Collaborate with management to design strategic benefits and employee wellness programs within assigned region (e.g., USA, International). Interface with internal stakeholders and external experts to understand the market and emerging/innovative tools, trends, and opportunities to identify solutions that promote well-being in alignment with our global well-being strategy; prepare concise business cases for proposed solutions
Perform complex data mining and analysis to assess program opportunities/effectiveness; develop success metrics and dashboard. Assess competitiveness of benefits and employee wellness programs and identify any opportunities for improvement; Perform complex benefit market analysis and lead projects to ensure benefit programs are market competitive
Provide direction and guidance on benefits and wellness related topics to HR staff across the region including identifying and evaluating process improvements
Responsible for taking action on program evaluation/dashboard metrics to improve the effectiveness of benefit and well-being programs; Submit benefits survey data, update Benefits database and prepare annual benefits cost report. Determine and prepare materials required for benefits proposals presented to benefits committee in partnership with cross-functional teams
Support overall vendor management to maximize investment
Review and stay current with changing employee benefits regulations, as well as the shifting needs of an organization’s workforce
Develop key relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Provide coaching and knowledge transfer to team members

What you’ll need (required):
Bachelor's Degree in related field and 8 years experience in benefits and wellness
Prior management experience
Experience with benefits data and analytics
What else we look for (preferred):
Expert understanding of related aspects of benefit and wellness processes and/or systems
Knowledge of financial mechanism that relates to benefit and wellness programs
Expert understanding of benefit related data and data analysis
Proven expertise in MS Office Suite and related systems
Proven successful project management skills
Excellent problem-solving, organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills including negotiating and relationship management skills
Extensive knowledge of own area within the organization while contributing to the development of new concepts, techniques, and standards
Ability to develop and integrate metrics into the projects and operations that clearly demonstrate the value to the business
Excellent leadership and negotiating skills and ability to influence and implement change
Experience working in multi-national locations in culturally diverse environment
Strict attention to detail
Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels and proactively escalate issues to appropriate levels of management in the organization
Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Ability to manage confidential information with discretion
Ability to work in a team environment, including inter-departmental teams and representing the organization on specific projects
Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control

For California, the base pay range for this position is $100,000 to $142,000 (highly experienced).
