Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Business Systems Analyst to work for a large food distribution client located in Irvine, CA. This position is onsite three days a week The Business Systems Analyst is responsible for delivering high-quality, comprehensive systems designs, business requirements, and business cases to the IT organization, aimed at enhancing business efficiency and productivity upon implementation.

The candidate will operate in a corporate setting, collaborating with managers and staff. They should possess a solid understanding of core distribution processes, including finance setups and processes, sales orders to cash, procurement to payables processes, and a working knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) in a distribution environment. Familiarity with systems such as ERP (JD Edwards) and WMS (JDA/BlueYonder) is beneficial.

Skills and Requirements

8+ years of systems design and test experience with some related leadership experience.

Experience working in core distribution business processes such as: Sales to Cash, Procure to Pay, Accounting (AP/AR), and Warehouse Management

Ability to understand, communicate, interpret client business processes and requirements.

Ability to configure and test with the users.

Good to excellent verbal and written communications skills.

Experience with Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) converting business documents and understanding how data is formatted and processed. (856, 810) Two-year college required or applicable trade school or commensurate work experience, four-year college preferred. null
