Let’s work together to succeed together! A minimum of 5 – 7 years of relevant industry experience in some (more is better) of the following areas is a good start :
A solid understanding of the necessity for, and practice of, basic network, server, workstation, and end user security, and multi factor authentication methods.
Supporting, managing, troubleshooting, and resolving second and third level service requests with the appropriate level of urgency and professionalism across a wide variety of technical environments.
Direct and indirect contact with customers, vendors, and staff.
Proper and efficient management of workflow using research, documentation, RMM tools, ticket system, and communication.
The ability to effectively communicate technical information using written and verbal communication skills.
Experience configuring, troubleshooting, and supporting network related devices such as switchers, firewalls, and routers.
Expert knowledge of TCP/IP/DHCP and DNS.
Experience creating, renewing, and installing SSL certificates.
Experience with SPF/DMARC/DKIM.
Experience with SAN/VPN/LAN configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Experience monitoring for, and responding to, server and network outages.
Experience with installing, configuring, and maintaining virtualization technologies such as Vm-Ware, Hyper-V, and Scale computing.
Experience working with and troubleshooting Citrix environments and Citrix Workspace.
Expert knowledge of on-premise and cloud backup technologies.
Experience with installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Windows Operating Systems (servers and workstations).
Experience with Active Directory and Group Policy administration.
Experience with support and management of Microsoft Exchange 2010, 2013, 2016 and 2019.
Experience with VoIP / phone system maintenance, configuration, and support.
Experience administrating and supporting Microsoft Office 365 Environments, applications and licensing, including OneDrive, SharePoint, and Teams.
Experience with network printing and scanning installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
Experience with the installation and troubleshooting of peripheral hardware such as docking stations, printers, mice, keyboards, and monitors.
Expert knowledge of teleconferencing applications such as Zoom, Skype, and Teams.
Experience with the installation, configuration, and support of Apple computers and devices.
Experience with installation and maintenance of a wide variety of applications on servers and workstations.

Comp TIA A+ certification
Comp TIA Network+ Certification
VMware Certified Professional
Microsoft Certified IT Professional
Apple Certified Support Professional
Cisco Certified Network Associate
Batch File, VB Script, and PowerShell experience
Experience with Microsoft Visio and generating network documentation
Help Desk or Technical Support Experience
Experience with Structured Cabling and Network Wiring
Experience with internal and external security scanning software, identifying vulnerabilities and remediating them
Work Schedule/Travel - S hifts for this role will be scheduled between the hours of 8 AM and 6 PM (PT). In addition to the normal work shifts, you must periodically be able to work on-call, after-hours, and holidays. Travel may include up 30% to the various client locations across the Orange County/LA area. You must have a valid driver's license, reliable motor vehicle with valid proof of insurance. You must also be able to lift up to 40 pounds.
Current Pay Range: $65,000 to $90,000
As a full-time Meriplex employee, you will receive benefits and competitive pay. You will become eligible for the following benefits after 30 days plus the 1st of the month:

Expected Compensation $65,000-$90,000 + benefits.
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
