An Engineer is needed for a Swiss-American pharmaceutical and medical device company specializing in eye care products in the Irvine, CA area. This position needs a skilled Engineer with extensive experience to develop miniature pressure sensor solutions for medical devices, proficiently interfacing with analog and digital circuitry, employing mechanical CAD design.

responsibilities:

• Develop innovative pressure sensor designs tailored for medical device applications, emphasizing miniaturization.

• Interface pressure sensors with both analog and digital circuitry to ensure seamless integration into medical devices.

• Utilize mechanical CAD software (CREO or Solidworks) to design compact and robust sensor housings.

Desired Skills:

• Proficiency in C++ software programming to enhance sensor functionality and control.

• Familiarity with LabVIEW software for system integration and data visualization.

• Prior experience in the medical device industry, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards and user needs.

• Knowledge of Allegro Electrical CAD design for schematic capture and PCB layout optimizations.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering) is required.

• 5+ years of experience in pressure sensor design and development, preferably within the medical device sector.
