Role Description: Our client is seeking a meticulous and experienced Accountant to join their team in Irvine, CA. This full-time on-site position involves a range of financial responsibilities, including financial record keeping, accounts payable and receivable, tax preparation, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will also be adept at handling technical accounting tasks and collaborating with the team to support budgeting and forecasting activities.

salary: $36 - $45.5 per hour

Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting tasks, including financial record keeping, reconciliations, and journal entries

• Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness

• Prepare tax documents, including corporate income tax returns and sales tax filings

• Generate financial reports and provide analysis to support decision-making processes

• Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities, providing insights and recommendations

• Conduct foreign taxes and Nasdaq reporting, navigating complex regulations and requirements

• Handle currency exchange transactions and reconcile foreign currency accounts

• Collaborate with internal and external auditors to facilitate audits and ensure compliance with regulatory standards

• Stay updated on industry trends and changes in accounting regulations, recommending adjustments to policies and procedures as needed
