You will be responsible for managing mechanical reliability for the plant. Pay: $24-$27 per hour Hours: 12-hour shifts working on a rotating 2-2-3 schedule Essential Functions: Ensure the safe and efficient operation of all equipment to meet or exceed company-established OEE expectations and customer quality expectations. Proactive in addressing unsafe conditions/inefficiencies on production equipment. Process production equipment and maintain documentation to support process changes. Perform standard and scheduled preventative maintenance tasks as outlined by the Maintenance Manager. Evaluate operator checklist and comments prior to performing preventative maintenance to ensure all causes for production inefficiencies are addressed and corrected. Ensure equipment is clean and in "showroom condition" after preventative maintenance is performed. Perform changeovers with limited downtime. Use proper power tool equipment needed to complete jobs in the shop safely. Perform building maintenance as directed by management. Support of equipment installation, machines, wiring, or programs to meet specifications. Coordinate with the Production Manager as it relates to production equipment training and employee development while providing suggestions for training topics. Requirements: High School Diploma or GED/High School Certification (Technical School Certification preferred). 3-5 years of relevant manufacturing experience in plastics technology or a similar technical area. Demonstrated understanding of mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
