Summary

We are looking for an Accountant to join our Asset Managment Team. You must be a detail-oriented, results-driven individual with a commitment to quality, accuracy and the ability to organize and prioritize workloads to meet deadlines. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to work in both a team environment and on self-directed tasks are necessary. The person in this role will also participate in special projects and other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

  • Help to ensure that financial reports are completed on time, in accordance with GAAP principles, and that they accurately reflect financial position.

  • Complete assigned daily ledger entries and other financial transactions in accordance with Accounting principles to ensure the general ledger is accurate and up-to-date.

  • Collect and compile simple financial information and assist senior accountants with the accurate and timely preparation of financial reports and Accounting statements for senior management.

  • Other duties and responsibilities as needed or assigned.

Minimum Qualifications (required)

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Economics, Business, Business Administration, or related field

  • Knowledge of Finance and/or Accounting

Additional Qualifications

  • Knowledge of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)

  • Knowledge of modern accounting and office methods and procedures

  • Must possess a solid foundation in accounting fundamentals

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with others to obtain, share, verify and validate information

  • Proficiency in MS Office suite

Actual pay offered will vary based on multiple factors which may include, without limitation, experience, education, training, specialized skills and certifications.
