Interlochen Center for the Arts Annual Giving Associate in Interlochen, Michigan
Interlochen Center for the Arts has an exciting position available for candidates with experience and or passion for fundraising and annual giving. Whether supporting Interlochen Arts Academy, Interlochen Public Radio or Interlochen Arts Camp, the Annual Giving Associate has a major impact on supporting these activities.
Position Summary:
We are seeking a new team member who can support immediate and long term plans working toward Vision 2028 for the annual funds at Interlochen. The Annual Giving Associate is responsible for supporting and executing strategic activities as directed that grow dollars and increase donors and donor retention rates for the Interlochen Annual Fund (IAF) and the Interlochen Public Radio (IPR) Annual Fund. This person will be detail-oriented, rigorous about keeping work organized and on time, an excellent and positive communicator internally and externally, technologically savvy, and able to balance multiple priorities amidst simultaneous ongoing projects.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The Associate will have responsibilities to assist and support these core areas of our programs:
Fundraising Appeal Efforts, assisting with:
- tasks related to a minimum of 10 direct mail campaigns each fiscal year
- monthly renewal efforts
- recurring donor outreach when credit cards fail to process
- appeal copywriting
- design of email campaigns using Act-On marketing platform

``` - editing existing content in our donation platform, Classy
Act for Art Giving Days, assisting with:
- execution for annual giving days campaign including but not limited to volunteer materials and collateral development, content creation, campus celebration and participation, and stewardship.
Volunteer Support
- Collaborate with team members to support volunteer outreach efforts for 4 volunteer groups.
IPR On-Air Fund Drive Preparation & Execution
- Assist with IPR fund drives including but not limited to working in the phone room, assisting with donor stewardship, reporting, and writing drive challenge scripts.
Annual Funds Stewardship
Collaborate with Annual Giving team members to support weekly stewardship and fund drive efforts.
Writing and researching for stewardship communications for the annual funds.
Assist sustaining donors with making changes to their recurring gifts in Classy.
