KITCHEN KETTLE VILLAGE is now accepting applications for a RETAIL GUEST ASSOCIATE.
This position is front line to Spread Happiness and Create an Exceptional Experience and Lasting Memories for our guests who visit the Village.
COMPETENCIES/SCHEDULE
An ideal candidate for this position enjoys working with the public, has excellent communication skills, enjoys working on a team, and can work in a fast-paced environment. This is a part-time position, up to 25 hours per week. Flexibility to work Saturdays and during the Fall season is appreciated.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS of this position include, but are not limited to:
1. Greeting and interacting with guests
2. Assisting guests by offering product knowledge and making suggestions
3. Ensure that each guest receives outstanding guest service by providing a guest-friendly environment, maintaining outstanding standards, and all other components of guest service.
4. Accurately handle all forms of money transactions and wrap/bag guest purchases.
5. Price merchandise, stock shelves, counters, displays pieces or tables with merchandise to promote sales.
6. Monitor and assist with periodic merchandise inventories.
7. Assist guests and answer questions concerning location, price, and use of merchandise.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS / WORK ENVIRONMENT
Employee is regularly required to be on his/her feet. They are required to twist, bend, reach, stoop, climb steps, and kneel. They must frequently lift or move objects up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift or move objects 25 to 50 pounds. They may occasionally need to utilize ladders up to 6 feet high.
Can be hectic and fast-paced. Noise level is sometimes loud. Temperatures can vary.
