For our Region Central & Northern Europe Barilla Austria GmbH wants to recruit a Key Account Manager (fmd) within the Austrian Sales department. The individual will be based in Innsbruck and will report to the Managing Director Austria.

Key Accountabilities

In this pivotal role, you will be a driving force behind our success by:

  • Understanding Customer Needs: Take full ownership of assigned key accounts, delving deep into understanding our customers’ needs. Your insights will fuel our sales objectives.

  • Global Collaboration: Engage in annual discussions with peers from other countries. These international negotiations will not only shape our strategies but also fortify our global footprint.

  • Direct Report Management: Lead a direct report, bridging the gap between our field sales agency and e-commerce. Your adept communication ensures seamless coordination.

  • Sales Strategy Contribution: Analyze potential and customize customer-specific measures. Your insights actively contribute to our medium and long-term sales strategy.

  • Category Management Partnership: Collaborate closely with Category Management. Together, you will strategize, implement, and monitor listings, assortments, and promotions.

  • Independent Reviews: Conduct quarterly and annual reviews autonomously. Your insights, combined with input from the local team, drive continuous improvement.

    Your Profile

    We’re seeking an exceptional individual with the following qualifications:

  • Educational Background: A completed university degree (e.g., Business Administration or equivalent) or equivalent work experience.

  • Professional Experience: A minimum of 5 years in a professional experience, including at least 3 years in Key Account Management within the FMCG environment.

  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical abilities to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.

  • Communication and Leadership: Excellent communication, leadership, and negotiation skills.

  • Sales Passion: A genuine enthusiasm for sales and achieving results.

  • Autonomy and Teamwork: Demonstrated autonomy, proactivity, and a collaborative team player mindset.

  • Language Proficiency: Excellent proficiency in both German and English.

Based on our collective agreement (trade), your salary will be at least €3.683,00 gross per month, but may be higher depending on qualifications and experience. You will also be provided with a company car for this position.
