Description

An Medical Infusion Company in Inglewood is currently seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Infusion Medical Collections Specialist with out-of-network insurance experience to join its growing team. This successful candidate will have a strong background in the medical billing and collections field, specifically in dealing with out-of-network insurance policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Reviewing patient bills for accuracy and completeness and obtaining any missing information.

• Checking the eligibility and benefits verification for treatments, hospitalizations, and procedures.

• Managing the entire billing cycle including claim submission, payment posting, and follow-up.

• Reviewing insurance remittance advice for payment accuracy.

• Resolving patient discrepancies and insurance rejections.

• Negotiating claim denials, partial payments, and payor discrepancies.

• Working with out-of-network insurance policies and Maintain strict confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.

• Conducting regular audits and providing feedback to reduce

  Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical billing and collections, specifically with out-of-network insurance.

• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and the insurance claim process.

• Familiarity with ICD-10 Coding and CPT.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and billing software.

• Exceptional communication and customer service skills.

• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills.
