Aerotek Electro-Mechanical Assembler in Inglewood, California

We are seeking a skilled Electronic Assembler to configure complex RF power amplifier assemblies, including RF components and printed circuit boards. The role involves making electrical harnesses and RF coaxial cables, as well as soldering, wiring, and mechanical and electrical assembly.

Essential Functions:

  • Assemble, wire, and install complex mechanical assemblies using instructions, schematics, and sketches.

  • Perform cable assembly operations on shielded cables, ribbon cables, and wire harnesses.

  • Conduct tasks such as cable cutting, jacket removal, shield preparation, and termination.

  • Maintain clean and safe work areas.

  • Use hand tools and power tools for assembly tasks.

  • Review documentation related to building and testing hardware.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of two years of experience assembling electrical parts and familiarity with RF connectors.

  • Training in IPC J-STD-001 and IPC-A-610 certification or equivalent.

  • Ability to read and understand assembly prints, wiring diagrams, and parts lists.

  • Manual dexterity and ability to lift up to 30 pounds.

  • Experience using hand tools, power tools, and soldering irons.

  • Familiarity with manufacturing quality and inspection processes is a plus.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $39520.00 - $45760.00/yr.

This is a permanent opportunity offering direct hire and benefits, including 401k. The role provides stability and the chance to grow within the organization.
