Join the Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (AME) at Grundfos and be a part of the Data department and play an important role in our digitalization journey within manufacturing at Grundfos.

“Majority of your time will be spent on implementation of data projects, where you will be working closely with the production team to define the problem in production and specifying in cooperation with various specialists (data specialists, process engineers, etc.) “data needs” to the problem, as what data to collect, frequency, visualization, etc., this will also include work as analyzing to find “hidden stones” behind the data, those findings then used to guide production and engineering team towards problem-solving what generates tangible results, after all. Based on data analysis, and stages of project implementation and needs you also guide the data specialists towards the next steps.” - explains Program and People Manager, Olena Ovsyannikova.

What is the job about?

You will be working with data and creating valuable insights out of it. This is done in collaboration with various stakeholders and colleagues within Manufacturing, Engineering, Data and IT field.

Furthermore, you will:

• Coordinate tasks internally.

• Communicate and align with stakeholders on the scope, requirements, resources, specification of the solution, and other project-relevant aspects.

• Together with the team develop and maintain the plan for the solution including time estimation.

• Plan Sprint activities.

• Create a weekly action plan with the teams.

• Facilitate the team in some areas; this might be preparation for some specific way of data collection in production - this would also include making instructions on how to use and training the user on following the instruction.

• Report on the status of the projects to the Program Owner.

• Perform resource planning and (re-)prioritization based on the situation (in collaboration with the Program Owner).

• Ensure implementation-ready preparation; this may include tasks such as informing production, ensuring hardware is in place, official start day, etc.

• Develop training material for the user, conduct the training, and ensure sustainable implementation of the solution, to generate tangible results.

• Develop the training for the “first line the technical support”.

• Update the “improvement tracking system” on a monthly basis continuously tracking the impact of the deliveries.

• Support production in finding manufacturing problems that are solvable by the use of Data Solutions.

• Being one point of contact for support production in case of any technical problems with the solution.

• Ensuring process flow is in place and updated.

• Managing and maintaining access to external resources in the folder.

• Presentation material development and updating.

We imagine you have:

• BSc. or MSc. in Manufacturing engineering or automation;

• 2-4 years of experience in manufacturing as a Project Manager;

• Experience in Lean Manufacturing and process optimization, including improvement of potential estimation and calculating results;

• Experience in working in an agile way and are familiar with sprint and scrum master roles;

• Skills in Power BI;

• Skills preferably in Azure DevOps;

• Fluency in English;

• Willingness to travel a few days per year.
