Do you want to deliver and support development of robust demand planning system support in Grundfos, ensuring that our demand planners, have reliable and high-quality tools supporting their decision process?

Position Purpose

Demand Planning Process Expert will be responsible for Grundfos having a high system availability, with smooth implementation of new developments. The position is also responsible for solving the second line of advanced technical issues and developing and conducting end user training. This will be done through working closely together with Global Product Forecast managers, Supply chain excellence, IT department, Group Finance and system users.

The Key Responsibilities for the position:

• Ensuring the execution of SAP IBP demand planning cycles, input and reporting systems runs smoothly and timely without end user impact

• Deliver second line of advanced technical support for both Divisions and Group function regarding error handling and development requests.

• Testing cloud updates and inhouse developments (reports, statistical forecast models, KPI’s etc.) to ensure smooth implementation and sharing of new functionality to end users

• Taking part in new system developments (key figures, statistical models, reports etc.)

• Keeping IBP DP trimmed both in terms of records and documented key figures

• Ensure local IBP master data is up to date

• Training of end user

• Ad hoc

What do you need to apply?

You possess a deep understanding of how planning process works (specially demand planning), that you can convert into system structure and process. You are experienced with overseeing interlinked system process’ and can detect their dependencies. Dividing complex issues into smaller logical steps both in terms of development and error identification is one of your competences. You can convert complex IT system structure in easy understandable user support, training session and training material for users located in the business organization.

This role requires very well-developed capability to work in a Global matrix and communication skills at all levels. You are a team player and can easily make connection with other people. We expect approx. 20 days of traveling.

Professional skills & experience:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience from a complex environment

• Have the capability of transforming complex data and IT system architecture, into easily understandable presentations / training sessions.

• Can work with both business side and IT department

• Experience within SAP IBP DP/ BW will be an advantage

• Advanced in English

• Demand Planning knowledge preferable including some financial understanding

Personal skills:

• Strong in building relations and communicate with both end users and IT development

• Can support taking complex business requirements into system design

• Highly analytical and structured approach

• Communicate effectively

• Self motivated and proactive.
