Management Performance Hub:

The Management Performance Hub (MPH) provides analytics solutions tailored to address complex management and policy questions enabling improved outcomes for Hoosiers. We partner with state agencies to leverage data in innovative ways to facilitate data-driven decision-making and data-informed policymaking.

Role Overview:

You will perform specialized systems administration, monitoring and compliance. Coordinating and working alongside staff amongst various projects, assisting with needs and helping to define strategies and mitigate risks. You will assist with and administer Cloud based applications and data.

Salary Statement :

The salary for this position traditionally starts at $79,118.00 but may be commensurate with education or work experience.

A Day in the Life:

The essential functions of this role are as follows:

  • Define operating systems software and hardware requirements.

  • Direct information technology software systems and technical staff, resources, projects, and plans.

  • Plan and direct the acquisition of information technology products, services, and resources to meet the agency mission, goals, andobjectives.

  • Develop and promulgate information technology policy and procedures.

  • Assign personnel to projects and direct activities.

  • Prepare performance reports and evaluates work.

  • Confer with and advise subordinates on administrative policies and procedures, technical problems, priorities, and methods.

  • Consult with personnel and management in other information systems sections to coordinate activities.

  • Consult with management and staff throughout the agency to ascertain technology needs.

  • Responsible for meeting budget goals and objectives.

  • Provide input to policy level direction regarding standards and budget constraints.

  • Assign personnel to projects and directs their activities.

  • Project software and hardware requirements in conjunction with other information technology managers.

  • Develop standards for all software system applications and provide technical guidance to the information technology staff.

  • Direct the interface of software systems with the hardware configuration and applications systems.

  • Responsible for configuration/capacity planning, and systems performance analysis and optimization.

  • Direct software product evaluations.

  • Prepare activity and progress reports for software systems activities.

  • Effectively use resources to develop solutions.

What You'll Need for Success:

You must meet the following requirements to be considered for employment:

This position requires:

  • Experience with Microsoft Azure Administration.

  • Experience with Microsoft Entra and Hybrid Active Directory topologies.

  • Experience with Cloud and on-prem Network technologies.

  • Experience with Change Control processes and security postures.

  • Experience with Windows Server and Client Software.

Knowledge not required but preferred:

  • Microsoft Azure SQL, Azure Synapse, Databricks, or Microsoft Bicep.

  • Experience or awareness of AWS and/or Google Cloud.
