Oracle Sr. Principal Technical Account Representative (TAM) 5 in Indianapolis, Indiana

Job Description

This role will partner, influence and support leadership teams in strategy development and execution by providing subject matter business/technical expertise in Oracle Products especially products that fall under OCI (SaaS, IaaS, PaaS).


  • Key leader, contributor and proactive collaborator to define and align the technical and architectural vision for the program solution with other solution and system architects

  • Provide strategy and solution support for Oracle SaaS products. Be well versed and able to understand one of the verticals (HCM, ERP, SCM, Sales Cloud, and EPM) with broader overarching understanding and support for Oracle Cloud products.

  • Participate in identifying the system, subsystems, and interfaces, validate technology assumptions and evaluate alternatives

  • Align with product roadmap and features with Oracle’s new release cycles, business enhancements and production break-fix solutions

  • Identifies any enabler capabilities and features and remove architectural gaps and impediments

  • Promotes adaptive design and engineering practices, facilitates the reuse of ideas, components, services, and proven patterns across product teams

  • Lead and oversee end to end SDLC process from requirement intake, design, build, testing and deployment

  • Serves as change agents that combines their technical knowledge of Agile principles with an intrinsic motivation to improve the company’s software and systems development processes

  • Works closely with management – Portfolio Manager and the roles within the pods (e.g., Business Analyst, Integration Specialist, QA, etc.) and contribute to strategic planning, direction, and goal setting for the department or function in collaboration with senior management


  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and work experience

  • 10 years in IT industry and 5 years of demonstrated experience of OCI with thorough understanding of one of the Cloud product verticals (HCM, ERP, SCM, Sales Cloud, and EPM)

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to quickly understand the business functionality, converting them into technical solutions, while considering the broader cross-module impacts

  • Solid understanding of PaaS to SaaS integration framework

  • Good understanding of Payroll, Costing, Labor Distribution, Sub ledger accounting, General Ledger, PPM integrations

  • Demonstrable record of working with Senior Business Leaders in developing technology roadmaps and strategies

  • Experience in leading Business Analysis, Business Process Design and Application Development (SDLC)

  • Successful track record in delivering IT solutions on time and on budget

  • Good working knowledge of Oracle Fusion HCM architecture and administration and the ability to quickly diagnose and solve system problems

  • Good communication and presentation skills required

  • Demonstrate successful working relationships with all levels of IT and Business Partners

  • Exceptional customer service orientation and collaboration skills

  • Extensive experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative, remote environment

  • Strong skill level with Oracle Fusion HCM

  • Intermediate skill level with MS Outlook, MS Excel, MS Word, MS Vision and MS PowerPoint

  • Working knowledge of relational database

  • Knowledge of client/server architecture

  • Excellent analytical, communication and organizational skills

  • Demonstrable ability to work on a variety of projects

  • Possess self-awareness and the ability to use constructive feedback to improve performance

  • Team-Player who creates a positive team environment

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated location(s)

California Pay Range: from $52.69 to $108.37 per hour; from $109,600 to $225,400 per annum. May be eligible for equity.

Colorado Pay Range: from $49.76 to $97.55 per hour; from $103,500 to $202,900 per annum. May be eligible for equity.

New York City Pay Range: from $49.76 to $102.98 per hour; from $103,500 to $214,200 per annum. May be eligible for equity.

Washington Pay Range: from $55.63 to $102.98 per hour; from $115,700 to $214,200 per annum. May be eligible for equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience and market conditions, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

  8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
