MM Packaging US Inc Shipping and Receiving Clerk/Material Handler in Indianapolis, Indiana
The Shipping and Receiving Clerk / Material Handler is responsible for activities associated with receiving incoming material, shipping finished product and maintaining the warehouse in a cGMP compliant state, including storage, delivery of material to production areas and control of raw materials and finished goods.
- Manages trays and cartons from incoming through usage
- Suppliesbindery rooms with trays and cartons as needed
- Emptiestrash and recycling containers near the end of shift
- Advises HSE Manager when waste and recycle trailer is full so pick up can be scheduled
- Maintains good housekeeping standards
- Enter materials into computer from the job pick tickets pulled during the shift
- Communicates updates and outstanding issues at end of day to ensure smooth shift change
- Reports any issues or damages to the shift supervisors
- Unload incoming trucksasrequired
- Labels and scans incoming paper
- Pulls outbound shipments and completespaperwork
- Wraps and labels finished goodsskidsfrom the Bindery and receives into systembefore placing in rack
- Loads outbound trucks and completes shipment log
- Complete all required documentation
All other duties as required.
High school diploma or general education degree
- 5 years related warehouse experience
- Forklift experience, clamp truck preferred
- Experience using RF scanners
- Ability to read directions of different product labels
- Good attendance record
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed -Strong time management skills
