Messer Construction Safety Engineer Co-Op - 314-OTHLOC-C2QxYfw7 in Indianapolis, Indiana
DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: We are currently seeking Safety Co-op to join the Messer team. This position supports Messer projects and personnel with safety responsibilities.
What You Will Do: * Pre-construction safety meetings * Contractor safety orientations * Weekly site safety inspections * Research on safety topics * Employee safety training * Organize and lead project safety committee * Track and identify trends * Provide coverage for a Safety Coordinator when they are absent * Tracking of safety equipment distributed to the job site
