Country Intelligence Group Professional Surveyor in Indianapolis, Indiana

*[Professional Surveyor [Country Intelligence Group is seeking a Professional Surveyor with a positive attitude to join our team and serve as our Project Manager in Indianapolis, IN. Our Survey Department is responsible for the execution of all land survey projects as well as boundary surveys. We are looking for an individual who thrives in managing projects, often in an environment with multiple deadlines, who has a strong attention to detail, proven leadership and can work cross-functionally to help grow the firm. This position does NOT require travel.

Tasks TaskPerformed:

  • Development and management of mapping and legal descriptions.
  • Management of projects with clients; meeting with clients to establish project plans, budgets, and schedules.
  • Responsible for regular communication/interaction with business development on client relations and project pursuits. Work cohesively with marketing on proposals.
  • Awareness of project related activities: creating initial proposal fees and project budgets, developing relationships, meeting deadlines, and deliverables.
  • Work with other department managers cross-functionally for staffing and project related needs/maximize employee utilization.
  • All items required under I.C., I.A.C. and INDOT Design Manual as it pertains to surveying.

Skills, Education and Experience:

Professional Land Surveyor (PS) in Indiana / Required

Ability to sign and seal legal documents / Required

Adept in AutoCAD/MicroStation, Office 365, Internet Software, GIS Mapping and other software deemed relevant to the position / Required

Proficient use of standard industry surveying software / Required

Relevant experience in topographic and route projects / Required

Ability to read road/bridge plans, interpret deeds, perform route and topographic surveys / Required

Organized, trustworthy team player with a positive attitude and a high degree of attention to detail.

The ability to multi-task and manage multiple survey projects and/or tasks concurrently.

Good written and verbal communication skills
