What You Will Do

As a Patient Care Technician with Ascension St. Vincent, you will have the opportunity to deliver bedside care in the specialty (Example: bariatric) setting to patients specialty care description (Example: undergoing surgical or other invasive procedures.)

This is a full-time opportunity

Day or Night – Day 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. - Night 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.

Three 12 hour shifts per weekRotating WeekendsHoliday and Hard To fill Requirement

What You Will Do

Perform basic clinical and non-clinical patient care activities under supervision.


  • Aid with movement and placement of patients.

  • Assist patients with tending to personal care and activities of daily living.

  • Report findings or changes in physical, mental and emotional conditions to nursing staff. Document necessary records.

  • Keep patient rooms clean, orderly, and maintain medical equipment.

What You Will Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.


  • High school diploma or GED required
