Corteva Agriscience currently has an exciting opportunity for a Product Manager for the Global Commercial Marketing Automation Platform in the Indianapolis, IN or Johnston, IA areas.

This pivotal role involves spearheading the vision, strategy, and cohesive implementation of our Marketing Automation platform, which serves as the backbone supporting a variety of products within our ecosystem. This role requires a deep understanding of customer needs, marketing knowledge, technical aptitude, strong collaboration with cross-functional teams, and a relentless focus on delivering value.

What You'll Do:

Product Vision and Strategy:

  • Create a compelling vision and strategy showing how the platform can cohesively grow or support a variety of products, adding exceptional value for customers and distinguishing us in the market.

  • Develop and regularly update an outcome-driven product roadmap. Ensure it clearly outlines strategic priorities and adapts to meet stakeholders' needs and changing market conditions.

Continuous Discovery and Validation:

  • Engage with regional partners and directly with customers to deeply understand their needs, pain points, and workflows.

  • Lead the product discovery process to identify and prioritize high-impact opportunities.

  • Conduct continuous and iterative user research, including customer interviews, usability testing, and feedback sessions.

  • Validate hypotheses through rapid experimentation, prototyping, and testing to ensure product-market fit.

Product Development and Delivery:

  • Manage the allocated budget for global marketing automation systems and tools

  • Oversee product requirements and development, while working closely with IT for technical development and delivery.

  • Prioritize features based on strategic goals and customer needs.

  • Use agile methods to deliver iteratively and incrementally.

Metrics and Outcomes:

  • Define and track product outcomes, key performance indicators (KPIs) and business impact metrics to measure the impact and effectiveness of the platform.

  • Use data-driven insights to make informed product decisions and iterate on the product roadmap.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and sales, to ensure alignment and successful execution of the product strategy.

  • Foster a culture of collaboration, transparency, and shared ownership within the product team, region partners, and across the organization.

  • Clearly communicate product vision, strategy, and progress to stakeholders at all levels.

Experience with Emerging Technologies and Innovation:

  • Exhibit innovation leadership in product development.

  • Demonstrate experience with emerging technologies.

  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the product team.

  • Provide key stakeholders an opportunity to share best practices and stay abreast of industry knowledge.

Preferred skills include, but are not limited to:

  • Customer empathy and a deep understanding of user experience principles.

  • Strong Analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven mindset.

  • Ability to think strategically and execute tactically.

  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently

  • Effective communication skills and leading through influence while building strong business relationships globally

Qualifications

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, IT, computer science, or other related field required; advanced degree preferred.

  • 10+ years of relative product management experience, with focus on Marketing Automation platform and capabilities.

  • Coursework and certifications in the field of marketing automation is a plus

  • Technical skills and product knowledge in the field of marketing automation systems, including proficiency with Eloqua is required.

  • Familiarity with other marketing automation platforms and tools such as Marketo, SFMC, Optimizely, Sprout, and Bynder are a plus.

  • Experience with Lean and/or Agile methodologies.
