KPMG is currently seeking a Manager, Records Management to join our Data Strategy & Operations organization. This role is a remote work opportunity.
Provide records management governance guidance on all matters relating to the identification, management, maintenance, use and disposal of firm records regardless of format (paper and electronic), serving as the primary Point of Contact for all questions, concerns and issues; provide input in establishing goals and objectives and execute work plans; share and encourage the implementation of leading practices to improve service delivery quality within own functional area of responsibility
Develop trusted internal client relationships with firm-wide stakeholders; collaborate with other colleagues, both within and outside of Data Strategy & Operations
Collaborate with functions to conduct gap analysis against the firm's records management standards and guidance, generating project plans to mitigate gaps and monitoring progress
Perform Records Management operational tasks, including but not limited to recordkeeping system reviews and general inquiries; lead and/or participate in records management innovation projects
Contribute to the development of new programs, policies and procedures to support customers
Provide leadership-level reporting on key performance indicators and key risk indicators
Minimum five years of recent information and records management experience, including experience in operations
Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college/university
Experience with statutory regulations which govern records management, preferably in a professional services firm
Management experience that includes key performance indicator (KPI) measurement, reporting, preparing and executing communications, building and maintaining relationships with multiple business owners, estimating and controlling program costs, managing program issues and risks, as well as managing program scope change
Ability to understand business issues and processes and to articulate the business context and relevance sourcing work efforts; as well as ability to set goals and participate in strategic initiatives
US Citizenship required; This role is a remote work opportunity; Candidates must be able to perform work during the Eastern or Central time zones regular business hours
