Position Summary:

This position is an integral part of the Compliance Team and manages day-to-day activities under the Plan’s Medicaid Programs’ compliance plan. The Manager, Medicaid Compliance acts as a liaison with the State of Indiana

to

facilitate

communications

between

OMPP,

CMS,

and

the

State’s

contractors,

and

MDwise

executive leadership and staff for Medicaid

Programs.

This position works with both the Legal and Compliance teams and has a reporting relationship to the MDwise Director, Legal Affairs.

This is a leadership position with requirements to come onsite as scheduled with leader, Indianapolis, IN.

This position will require residency in Indiana.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in health, management or related field or Associate’s degree with (2) years of related experience, or High School with four (4) years of related experience related experience.

  • Three (3) years’ progressive experience in health plan compliance programs including two (2) years’ experience in a management role with direct reports leading or assisting in all phases of effective supervision (i.e. Recruitment, performance management, training).

  • Candidate must be approved by the Indiana Medicaid agency prior to hiring and the agency may ask to interview the candidate.

Preferred:

  • Health Care Compliance certification .

  • Two (2)years’experienceandknowledgeofHMO,PPO,TPA,PHOandManagedCarefunctions.

  • Experience working as an independent auditor or accountant responsible for evaluating internal records for the purpose of ensuring regulatory compliance.

  • Working knowledge of HIPAA and other federal or Indiana privacy laws.

  • Experiencepresentinginformationtoleadership.
