As an Implementation Manager on the PDO team, you are responsible for leading large scale process, vendor and tooling initiatives across PDO and cross-functional teams, inclusive of Product, Finance and Scaled Ops Enablement teams, to drive operational maturity and enable new functions that evolve the PDO business. This role manages high priority efforts in partnership with PDO managers and team members to enhance PDO’s overall delivery of data operations and solutions that ultimately improve the user experience and features of Facebook’s products. You will be required to showcase excellent leadership, project management, problem solving and communication among a highly cross-functional stakeholder base. Specifically, this role scopes and executes process improvement and technology enabling projects and programs that advance and mature PDO’s demand management, vendor utilization and tooling systems to enable PDO’s mission of operationalizing Facebook’s human understanding to deliver data that drives Facebook’s Product roadmap. This role accomplishes this by driving effective stakeholder engagement and change management through targeted communication and organization while holding cross-functional partners accountable to deliver impactful outcomes.
Directly manage large x-org level projects driving execution and communications across stakeholders to deliver meaningful results
Collect and create business requirements for upstream consumption across process owners, Product, Finance and Scaled Ops Enablement teams
Navigate highly complex cross-functional relationships to ensure E2E success of new/optimized processes and tooling
Provide program oversight with specific focus and accountability on implementing processes and systems across PDO teams
Ensure successful adoption of new processes, programs, policies and education across all of PDO
Identify and scope opportunities to improve operational efficiencies, improve quality, and implement scalable solutions
5+ years of operational project/program management experience in a fast-moving project/program-based environment
Experience working in highly cross-functional environments in leadership roles
Proven executive presence and communication skills
Problem-solving, critical thinking and analytical skills
Experience building coverage, adoption, and implementation strategies across multiple teams
- PMP or Lean Six Sigma Certification
