As an Area Vice President Support Services you’ll contribute to our success in the following ways:

  • Provides strategic leadership and direction for support services including Durable Medical Equipment, Medical Supplies, Pharmacy, and Program development. (IE: Volunteers, Veterans programs)

  • Oversees development and execution of the budget and financial management of support services departments.

  • Manages vendor relationships and contracts to ensure high-quality services in a cost-effective manner.

  • Contributes to the development and execution of the organizations strategic plan, particularly as it relates to support services.

  • Identify and analyze trends in the industry making recommendations to leadership on opportunities for innovation and improvement.

  • Serves are primary point of contact for support services within designated areas, communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Prepares and presents reports on the status and performance of support services to the executive team.

  • Lead and participate in risk management and safety initiatives to ensure a safe environment for patients, staff, and referral sources.

  • Interacts with employees, peers, corporate departments, shared services, and executive staff in a manner conducive to continued positive relationships.

  • Performs other duties/projects as assigned.

What is Required?

  • Graduate of an accredited Diploma, Associate or Baccalaureate degree Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related Health Care field.

  • Master’s Degree preferred

  • 7+ years of experience as a health care executive leader, preferably in a Home Health or Hospice, Palliative environment.

  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point, etc.)

  • Proficient in enterprise applications (e.g., Homecare Homebase, Workday) preferred

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong understanding of hospice operations, regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and home care industry trends

  • Travel approximately 50% or more to designated areas

You will report to the Regional Vice President of Operations.
